YogaTed Yoga is NOT about the poses. It’s not about the outfit. It’s not about being flexible. It’s not about being 28. It’s not about drinking Kombucha. It’s not about smelling like patchouli. It’s not about enlightenment. It’s not about sharing your deepest fears. It’s not about a daily practice. It’s not about being vegetarian. It’s not about knowing all the famous yogis. It’s not about retreats. It’s not about breathing into your chakras, or engaging your bandhas.
YogaTed Yoga IS about about you. Figuring you out. Figuring out what you need, what you want. Not everyday, but today. It’s about sometimes laughing when you do yoga, sometimes crying, sometimes drinking green tea while you do yoga, sometimes drinking a Rosé. It’s about sometimes doing two classes in a day, sometimes taking two weeks off. It’s about sometimes coming to an in-person class and yakking it up and sometimes just shuffling down the hall in your slippers to doing a recording in the dining room with the cat.
Ted Roseen (aka: YogaTed) has been teaching yoga in the Twin Cities for over 20 years. He DOESN’T have hundreds of certified yoga training hours, he DOES have hundreds of really bad jokes, and a love of movement, and people. Roseen teaches a flow-style of yoga from beginner to advanced. He teaches in-person classes, remote classes, and has weekly recorded “on-demand” classes. Roseen and his partner, Sharon Picasso, also lead multiple local, national, and international retreats every year with their YOU ARE HERE Retreats company, and with the help of their 10-year-old assistant, and resident boogie board instructor, Arlo. Find Ted at www.YogaTedYoga.com, on Instagram @Yoga_Ted, on Saturdays at The Yoga Center Retreat, or on Friday mornings running along the river with a bunch of yahoos.
